What's the difference between fixed and adjustable suspension?A fixed supspension is one that rides at a preset height and does not allow the vehicle to be raised or lowered without changing suspension components. An adjustable suspension can be changed "on the fly" either by the use of hydraulics or an air adjustable system. A third type which is semi-adjustable uses coil over springs with a threaded adjuster that must be turned by hand.
